We had our first tantrum last night!

Up until now Olivia has fussed and cried and screamed on occassion when not happy. To include srching her back when I put her in the stroller or the carset. Nothing major though. Last night was CRAAAAAZZZYYYY!

She and I shared some ice cream. I told her "Olivia the ice cream is almost all gone...3 more bites...2 more bites...1 more bite...all gone." I passed the cup to DH who went to put it away and Olivia lost it. We showed her that the cup was empty and she trew it! Then she threw herself on the ground! Kicked her legs, pushed herself across the floor on her back, screamed bloody murder and refused to be comforted. This lasted almost 15minutes! She was a soking mess by the time she was through!

Boy oh boy what do we have to look forward too? I think I might try throwing a tantrum the next time she does and see if it shocks her out of hers!

oy!

uh huh we have had these several times a DAY for the last few weeks. He knows where we hide the suckers (a special treat very occasionally for liam), and will sit and throw a holy hell fit for one. Or a popsicle. Or Liams yogurt (mind you Simon has his OWN yogurt) Pretty much anything that means him not getting his way has turned into a giant fit lately. <sigh>

it makes for such ugly children when they use their ugly voice! I just wish she could understand things a bit more.
