The boy is a little bored with the toys we have in the house...he's a button pusher. Likes things like that...Savannah's more into imaginary play so that's more the toys we have around here. Even thinking about something noisy with lights for him! It's just so dang hot outside we're in here a lot!

Noah pretty much just wants to play with what the older kids have...LOL!
Does Jackson like balls? could you get a softball-sized ball and roll back and forth with him? Noah likes that and actually throwing back and forth. What about knob puzzles? Noah likes putting things into other things (like, oh, toys and shoes into the diaper pail. sigh.)...he even just loads up whatever he can find into Miriam's Tonka trunk and lugs it around for awhile.

he loves balls, he's been pushing his sister's doll stroller around for about 20 minutes. he isn't into puzzles. he likes pushing buttons and seeing what things do.
Julie - I'm there with you! Andy also likes pushing buttons/taking things apart, etc. He just (within the past week) started actually liking to "read" books - especially the ones with the flaps. This is the new thing now (even though we've had the books for about 1.5 years already). My grandma has a remote that doesn't work with anything anymore (and batteries are taken out) that she lets Andy play with to "turn things on" and press the buttons as much as he likes to.
Our new thing is Andy figuring out how to unlock the sliding screen door and go running out onto the sidewalk - never looking back as to who (if anybody) is following him. We're in an apt. on the first floor and he just high-tales it down the sidewalk (and he's really fast - as our landlord pointed out the other day when they stopped him in his tracks). Do you have this problem too?
Olivia has on eof those wooden peg and hammer sets. Rather than hit them, which she does sometimes, she prefers for us to take them out of the hole and she puts them back in and we showed her how to push them down herself.
She also REALLY likes those books where you push buttong on the page and they make noises for that particular part of the story.

oh yea. he's about figured out how to unlock our doors. if you left a door unlocked...he'd be out the door, up the driveway, hightailing it to the neighbors in seconds! he's fast!
I'm no help..Sophie pretty much only like dolls..Eli loves buttons though and we got him lots of fake phones..

Elijah allows me to dress him nicely and take a picture!
Leila loves her nesting dolls and her "bubby" (baby) that her sister bought her. I think those are her favorites. Little people are a big hit too. She also loves the rare occasions she gets to "color color"
at one, Lindsey was into puzzles, her play kitchen and her dolls.
Josh was into push toys, his basketball hoop, little people and peek a blocks.
trains-- my boys both played with the thmoas trains i set up in the den off and on all day
simon also likes to draw or paint, you have to watch him so he doesnt put it in his mouth, but hes getting a lot better. simon also especially likes the train stuff like the tunnels and roundhouse-- stuff that he can push it into or through.

Oh, yes, Noah loves the doll stroller and pushes his balls around in it. LOL.
What about one of those toys that you push, pull, twist button and a "door" pops open? They have a couple of those in the church nursery and most of the little one Noah's age like them.
well we WERE going to go to toys r us tonight. dh comes home (jackson's been screaming and tired for a couple hours...won't let me nurse/rock him to sleep...savannah's been crying for an hour...won't take a nap) and in 5 minutes..they are all three asleep in the recliner.
guess it's a frozen pizza night and not going out either!
Noah loves his ride on truck, it has lots of buttons to push and sounds. He also loves the little people sets.....mainly the noisy ones.
cars and trains are another favorite.
