i swear its true...if dh could nurse him he'd be in heaven!

Miguel felt the same way. He always tried to nurse daddy first, he stopped asking daddy to "nurse" when he was about 18 months old... he always held out hope

Or..she just comes and says..nummie nummie nummie over and over ...and freaks out if I don't pay attention..

However, when dh comes home from work..it's always "DADEEEEEEEEEE" and I get ignored for a while

ROTFL....at least you've got nursing!

I think Isaac first signed 'milk' too. Nicolas' first word was "nummie" which was initially his word for nursing.

you got me giggling......When my ds whines to nurse (he's 22 months) and I say "no, you just nursed. How 'bout some milk or water?" my dh playfully says "Come here, I'll nurse you!". He grabs him and he lifts up his shirt and put his face up to his chest. My ds screams and says "NOOOOO!!!" He doesn't even want to try it.

mine never signed to nurse daddy but all three desperately wanted to do it...and by the age of 18m or so they realized they just couldn't but then they would pretend to try & then giggle. for each of them it was their first "joke"

daniel was my only child to sign and his first and main sign was for milk/nursing.

sniff. sniff. (mama's going to the LLL conference today/this weekend...my first one since EVERYONE has been weaned and the first one i've ever attended when i wasn't lactating at all...sniff sniff.)
