Have I said that I couldn't have asked for a better baby?
She has the best personality! The other night I slept THROUGH the night! I woke up at 6 AM and she must have just "helped herself" all night because we were both sleeping in the same exact position we fell asleep in!
She has long periods of quiet alertness, she's starting to "talk" to us, she smiled at Isaac 8 or 9 times today and she hardly ever cries!
I don't know how I got so lucky!

She settled so quickly...my oldest dd did that, and she still has the best disposition, even at 11, her friends are getting real snotty...she is just a wonderful soul. Bet Hannah and Kaya end up like my Lauren... Every mama deserves at least one super easy baby!

Hey Jess...I loooooove you. I don't know why I never thought to do this myself....I'm learning okay!......but I set myself up with pillows last night on my side, my boob in her mouth and I only got up to switch sides real quick because I was leaking and once to burp her and that was it! We basically slept thru the night. I'm a nerd....but I never thought to actually make myself comfortable with pillows behind my back and around my head so that when I do night nurse, I can at least be comfortable enough to sleep thru it....each time she nursed, she fell right back to sleep.
not that you mentioned pillows but they came to my mind when you said you were in teh same position all night...so I figured it musta been some comfy pillows!
I was actually on the COUCH! LOL! It's a wide (front to back) couch and my Mom left at about 9:30 PM and I leaned over and drifted off to sleep and woke up at 6 AM like that. I did have the couch pillows supporting my back, though.
Every mama deserves at least one super easy baby!
