My 2 year old has officially gotten jealous and michevious!
Every time I sit down to nurse she asks (demands) to hold the baby herself. I usually let her before I nurse b/c she doesn't want to hold a crying baby. She tries to nurse him each time too...it is quite funny.
Today...while nursing in the living room. She unlocked the bathroom door, found my contact lenses in the case (out of her reach i thought) and got them out and destroyed them. She learned today how to climb on my super high bed. I thought it was too high for her to get up there. She also feels the need to throw every toy she has in the bassinette...with and without jackson in there.
I feel looney! I feel like it's my first week on the job and there is another employee trying to sabotage everything I do.
Yikes!

Going from one kid to two has been the hardest thing I've ever done. We're still adjusting, and dd is 14 1/2 months. There are days I just hold ds (he's 6), and apologize, because I used to be such a great mama... Give yourself credit for the smallest thing, and it will get easier...

and *so* proud of my man...
Me too! In one morning this week MG sprayed hemmorhoid analgesic in her eyes, used a bottle of Baby Magic to soap the toilet "It's clean potty, mama", ate a packet of grape koolaid and put an Altoid in Faith's mouth. I called my mom and bawled. She laughed her butt off. This child is an animal!
Right now she's eating a tomato that was for our TACOS! Oh I take that back....she took 3 bites out of it and left it on the floor, then set my car alarm off. ARG! I am not a spanker, I am not a spanker...I'm not a spanker...
I understand what you're going through. It *does* get better. I agree, though, that going from 1 to 2 has been the hardest thing I've had to do. The newborn thing the second time around is so much easier - but having to give attention to a new big sibling is such a challenge.
