Yes Yes Yes! I just love those books and the Hobbit is the easiest and lightest of them all, plus you sort of understand Bilbo, and his relationships with a few of the other Baggins in the end too... which in the trilogy is not explained well... (just like a lot of things IMO, but I still adored the books

)
