I would never have thought of Trixie as a nickname for Beatrix, but then I've never known Nora to be a nickname either. I do like Beatrix/Beatrice (I like the latter more). I think because of Harper Lee Harper isn't really a gender-neutral name. I've never known a man named that, anyway. Or anyone. Harper Frances sounds great; it's definitely a strong name that will last her her whole life.
I'm not too fond of Annie, but I do like Anne. Annie and Anna are the really popular versions right now. My middle daughter's middle name is Anne, and if our last name wasn't one syllable, I'd probably have used it as her first name. It's a shame Anne is almost always regulated to middle name status.
