Dh brushes each child's teeth just after pajamas and before sleep. I am lazier (and more far-sighted?). I use the one-minute hourglass (with purple sand )and brush one while the other brushes their own, then we switch. The little one gets an albeit poor brushing from me, longer from daddy who is better at this in my opinion. Even the eldest is not that great at brushing thoroughly, though, in my opinion, and she is the one with what seem to be the "weak" teeth. So I feel better with us still involved. I would love to brush their teeth twice a day, but no other time has worked. BTW they are 8, 5, and 2.

Okay, and as long as I am admitting what a slacker I feel like, although we keep starting it, we can't seem to get a routine down that includes flossing.
