Sorry, herc - I misspoke about the blue-red. I meant that I was looking for a blue-red lipstick. I realize now that they have a whole category of colorations. But, I do see the golden undertones in your skin in some pictures I've seen. I just went to Clinique to find the right foundation last week and the goldens were HORRID against my jawline. They said it seems counter-intuitive because of the rosacea, but that I actually had a rosy/pink undertone and therefore needed to use a foundation with that base as well. I was a challenging subject, to say the least. But, they finally found a good blend that worked in conjunction with a yellow-toned powder and a green moisturizer.

I did read that something like 15% of the population is a cool - that it's not very common. Another link showed Jennifer Aniston as a cool again and I just think it's wrong - she's greek and has olive skin, sandy hair, and green eyes. But, I also saw Reese Witherspoon, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Gwyneth Paltrow. Those make sense to me.

I am definitely a cool - Heather (heythere) I see you in that coloration, too, for sure. Your plum-y color in your sig is a perfect compliment to your tone, which fits.

Dannielle - yep - blue is one of my best colors. (And pink, black, white, grey). I just need to learn to wear more of what I look good in because, I think, ultimately I will *feel* better in those things.

And, yes - I looked at the link and I agree - I think I must be a summer/cool.

Scroll down here and you can see that picture I was talking about:
