Well, obviously that is rediculous, but I can garuntee there were many who voted for McCain simply because he WASN'T black. I don't think anyone (here) at this point has said they are voting for Barak because of his color, they are simply proud that FINALLY for the majority of our country, the color of his skin doesn't matter.
I voted for Obama, not for the color of his skin, but for the things I believe he will work towards for our country.
I cried not because my candidate won, but because we just watched history in the making. My children got to see the first African American voted President of this great country. A coutry that was not so great 40 years ago when something like this was not possible.
I also would have cried had we voted in our first female Vice President. It's about HISTORY and being proud of our country and our people.
