As for those people IRL that you know that voted for him because he was black, maybe you can look at it from their perspective. Besides his qualifications and beliefs, he has made history. For my SO, this is huge, for his children, and our child this is huge. All of the racism he has endured, the segregation, the insults, the physical harm he has endured over the last 50 years, this is a big deal mama. Having a black president is something that was thought to never even be possible. There were children that were told that they could be anything they wanted to be, but in all reality, that wasn't feasible because of race. Those walls have been broken down. Finally.
