is it OK to go to a revival as a "field trip?"

There's this huge revival thing going on in my town. It's been going on for weeks and there are thousands of people (up to 10,000!) attending every night. It's a huge deal.

Here's an article:
Florida Outpouring: Internet Draws Thousands to Lakeland Revival | TheLedger.com

I've never been to a revival like that. It's not in our religious culture. But, I'd like to go. I want to check it out. But, frankly, I don't expect to experience what some are experiencing there (healing, speaking in tongues, etc). I don't think it's fake. It's just not what I'm after. I'm just curious. I want to see what it's all about. It would be a cultural excursion for my family.

But - is it disrespectful to go just to observe? I don't want to be rude. I am just curious. What do you think?
