Also, how do you whiten clothes in the wash?

I know bleach is really awful and have not bought (or used) any in 5 months, but my mother bleached (with ammonia ) everything. It is so easy to through bleach on something and see it turn bright white -- until I think about the other bleach facts.
ON laundry...whitening
Biokleen has an Oxygen Bleach Plus. Work great.
Ecover..has one too. FABULOUS Gets stains out too...
Ecover United States - Non-Chlorine Bleach Powder
if you have a really moldy trouble area...like a spot in the bathroom..first scrub it clean...I just use a vinegar water mix with tea tree and GSE and lavender in it. Same thing I clean my house with. Then after you have cleaned the area...take a paint brush and paint on pure tea tree or GSE (I have only used tea tree for this in the bathroom) If it is a huge area us a bigger brush and glass..yk? Let it air dry. If I am using tea tree I make sure the area is well ventillated. I think it is really strong stuff. Actually I feel that way about all essential oils.

I learned about painting the tea tree on from Danielle..she lives in a humid area and gets moldy windowsills.

Oh..I would spot test the tea tree or GSH..but I have even used it on wallpaper spots in the bathroom..at the seam near the ceiling and no discoloration.

HTH! *smooch*
