Right now, because I'm a single mama + MORE than full time college student (21 credits/semester to stay on track for graduation to keep my schoalrship which means I'm unemployed), we're relatively nomadic: we stay with various friends/family depending on the situation. We walk & ride the bus. My daughter is almost 6, though.

I wish RVs were a safe option for travel, but they're not. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death for all kids even in vehicles where there are approved locations to install carseats & without all the projectiles found in RVs
Unoccupied trailer types are fine: this way the family can be properly buckled into the towing vehicle.
