I was going to attach her chore charts, but once again I can't do it. The file is "invalid" for Amity, so feel free Katie, to email me and ask me to send it to you. They are cute little clip art cards.

Anyhoo... how I have been doing it, is I have a chart with pockets (which are not done yet, I am making the cart out of fabric) and she has one line of pockets for AM and one line of pockets for PM. Then another larger pocket for DONE. AM starts with:

brush teeth

and goes on to:

eat breakfast, sweep kitchen (Don does the dishes in the evening, so this works out great), feed chickens, feed cat, and then:

Smaller of course, with 'school work'

and then behind school work there are cards that say (with pictures) "animal day, art day, Ecojournal day, cooking day, or Starbucks school day." Things she enjoys so she has something to look forward to in her school day.

Then the PM ones start after nap/before bed time. She usually just has ones in there like "take vitamins" and 'set the table', but on her bath days I add in "BATH TIME!" and "Brush your hair"... things like that.

Anyway... I am doing it, but she doesn't have the chart yet. Although it sounds great in theroy... doesn't it? lol... I will let you know how it actually works with the chart in hand. But the cards sure are working well. I just need to remember to put them in the right places before I go to bed.
