Well, the question is, do you believe that Joseph and Mary were very poor as legend would have it, or do you believe that Jesus came from a powerful family as others believe?
If poor, maybe some unleavened bread.
Did you see The Nativity Story (not for littles btw, but beautiful)? They ate unleavened bread they brought along on their journey.
