I'm not very familiar with how to make EMBED work Jack's way, so I have a different solution for you

(download the zip file, and take a look at each file's source, I left comments in one of them).

Edited to add: you'll need to modify the code (in index page, in this example) a bit so it opens the player in a new pop-up window (do that using java-script).
