Kerri - I had one of those when I was younger! I was a bedwetter until almost 10yo, and I don't know if that alarm is what 'broke' me or if Mom just decided to make me go before bed around 10, Dad would get me up right before he left for work at 5:30 a.m., then she'd make sure I was up and on the john again by 8 a.m. (7 during the school year). The alarm isn't what I'd call violent, but I distinctly remember the thing sounding like a really REALLY loud mosquito *right* beside my ear.

Annoying, but effective!
To the OP - without going overboard on money or anything, try waking him about every 4-5 hours while he sleeps, and make sure he empties before going to bed. I mean the very last thing before going to bed, should be using the toilet. I'm almost positive now that I've thought about it that that's what Mom did that worked for me (after the alarm didn't wake me a few times in a row) - to this day I sleep like a log but if I feel the call in the middle of the night, I can rouse myself and make it in time. Heck, I still have a weak bladder and I'm only 30
