Do you drive alot for your job? or not at all?
Just curious because people seem to be surprised with my car search lately (I'll probably buy a new-to-us used car in about six months for my job) that I drive for my work.
I'm a behavior health professional and I plan to spend about 20 hours of my 40 hour work week visiting my consumers in their homes. Some will live in apts, homes, others in residential settings. I'll visit others in the hospital, attend staffings and on occasion probably visit some folks in jail. I'll be driving alot. We are reimbursed for mileage so its not terrible, especially if you don't mind driving.
Even at the next level up I'll drive 10-12 hours per week (I'm hoping to promote in about six months too) or if I go to the training dept its still about that because the training dept is 45 minutes each way from my house (not reimbursable lol) but I'd also be going to the different clinics (22 of them) to train people on site.
So my answer is yes. I drive alot for my job.
You?
and spinoff will be of course - what do you drive?
Right now I'm still in my 98 Ford Windstar minivan but I'm hoping for a smaller vehicle by summer.
