I am so thankful for my DH, who loves playing pretend games with the boys. They don't do a lot of superheros, but they do Bible stories, they are dinosaurs, sometimes bears, etc etc. One day I mentioned to him how I just don't get into it, and so he makes sure to play pretend play for a good portion of his playtime with them each day. If they ask me, I normally tell them to wait for dad
He plays with them most days for at least an hour, so it works well.
I'm like Barb--I like board games, card games, puzzles, books, cooking together, art projects, etc.
