do you have any old towles that you are willing to sacrifice?

I would consider dimantleing the gauze diapers to use the gauze as the outer layers (unless you have some fleece laying around then use that as one of the outer layers) then do a layer of flannel or two and then a layer of terry or two then gauze again .... or something like that. I'm tired and not sure I'm making sense.

One word of advice with using the terry or actually with any doubler, make a row of stiching (machine) about 1/2 inch or so inside of the serging lines. I have recently learned that that would make a world of difference in the handling of my doublers when placing them on the line to dry.

Also use a hearty needle if you do fleece or terry. imo at least a 16 although for mine I prefer an 18.
