pink smile Peanut Butter Pie, as mentioned in chat

This is the peanut butter pie my mom made when she was staying with us after Katarina's birth. Its yummy!
1 baked pastry shell
1/2 cup peanut butter, 1 cup powdered sugar
use a pastry blender or two knives to blend these 2 ingredients until they're a corn meal consistency. Sprinkle in pie crust, reserving 2 tbsp.

4 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup corn starch, 3 cups milk, 1 tbsp butter, 1.5 tsp vanilla, 1/4 cup peanut butter
combine sugar and corn starch, gradually stir in 2 cups milk. Separate eggs and mix four *yolks* into remaining cup of milk. Stir into sugar/cs/milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stri for 2 mintues more. Stir in butter, vanilla, and pb till melted. Pour into pie crust and keep warm. Prepare meringue as follows:

4 egg whites, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cream of tartar, and 1/2 cup sugar. Combine egg whites, vanilla, and cream of tartar in a large mixing bowl. Beath with an electric mixer on medium for 1 mintue or till soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, 1 tbsp at a time, beating on high spead for about 4 more minutes or till stiff glossy peaks form and sugar dissolves. Spread meringue over hot pie and top with remaing peanut butter/powdered sugar mix.
Bake at 325 for 25 minutes.
Cool for 1 hour. Chill for 3-6 hours (but i like it warm)
