I technically am a WAHM but I don't consider myself one. I am the dept head/technical computer analyst for the support team of a computer company based out of Vancouver, B.C. I do work from home, but I work fulltime in my office (in my home) from 9-5pm M-Fri, and am on call about once per month for the weekend. I have heavy deadlines etc and when I am working, I am unavailable, for the most part to my family. I do have more flexibility than most, and obviously no commute. I would like to belong to this forum since I really do not belong to the traditional WAHMs.
