I have several friends who are JW, and I just want to say, they have always been very understanding of what others think/do as far as holidays. The friends I have have never judged me for what I do. Though, we don't celebrate most holidays in traditional ways, we do celebrate birthdays, but, we don't do big parties, ever, it is always just the kids and I, maybe a friend for dinner. Not usually because of anything other than I can't afford big parties (or even small one's) any longer.

I believe they will be very understanding, may explain to you why, but will not be rude or offended at all. They know the world looks at things differently than they do.
