I was induced at 37 weeks b/c of increasing edema and high blood pressure. My cervix was still long and closed, and after three days of being in the hospital, babies ok and vertex, I had an urgent Cp-section b/c I blew up like a balloon - no, like an elephant. It was awful - I had pitting edema in my
thighs

Both my babies had some excess fluid in their lungs and their apgar scores were 7/7, so they spent 5 days in the NICU "getting used to the world."
