Exactly. My little man is 14 m/o and is doing the same thing. I suspected there was something going on in his mouth. Sure enough, I looked yesterday and there was a molar trying to break the skin. The poor guy wanted to nurse so badly but it hurt him to latch on.
I hope that whatever little Nick has going on gets resolved soon so you both can resume nursing happily.
