I have lots of patterns from the big three comapnies (Simplicity, McCalls, Butterick) and some of them are sized for smaller dolls. If your doll is a bit wider than the size the pattern is made for just use a smaller seam allowance to compensate (serging would be perfect). Hope that helped a bit!
