Quite right I believe - at least for most things. Cinnamon included.

Here's what I found:
Due to the emmenagogue action of the oil it should be avoided in pregnancy.

High dosages can cause convulsions and should be avoided during pregnancy. Cinnamon bark oil should not be used in aromatherapy.

emmenagogue is basically describing something that encourages menstrual flow.
