with a dappi cover you'll need a prefold or fitted diaper, the dappi goes over it. I found they leaked personally. didn't like them much at all.
i'm a big fan of fuzzibunz. i currently have about 2 dozen of em. I stuff them with joeybunz (babykicks hemparoos) for a trim but very absorbent fit.
in an emergency i'll pull out the stuffer and air dry the outer and reuse, but i don't like to do that so i generally just use a new one each change.
i dry my fb's on the line , i hear it gives them a longer life/
