I read some interesting things about tea tree oil.

Now I am afraid to use it. I used it to kill lice in dd's hair. Last year, she had lice, and we tried everything to get rid of them. Nothing worked until a friend recommended tea tree oil. I tried it mixed in the conditioner. It took one treatment. We haven't seen a louse or nit since. After I treated her, I decided to look it up on the internet. I found articles on how it can kill cats, and cause health problems. Does anyone here have any information that would convince me that it is safe? I used it in my wipe solution with my second dd without doing any research. Now I am afraid of the stuff.

I found that if I only used warm water, my son didn't smell clean to me. I have a sensitive nose though LOL. I used to do a mix of boiled water, a touch of Burt's Bee's apricot baby oil, a touch of tea tree, and a little bit of some lavender baby soap.
