I am so excited to see life in my garden! So far we've got these coming in and ready to start harvesting...

    -Red Russian kale
    -Swiss Chard (different colors!)
    -spinach
    -butter lettuce

The strawberry patch looks happy, but no berries yet!

Oh, we put in 3 'Early Girl' tomatoes Easter weekend too, but they have a loooong way to go still. Oh yeah, and our pumpkins from last Halloween are growing too, with a long way to go.

Also, we've planted a bunch of sunflowers that are a few inches tall already.

This week we're getting the rest of the beds ready and the final plans done, and we'll plant the remainder of our veggies this weekend! This is what I'm thinking we'll do, but I'm not sure on exact numbers of each yet...

    -tomatoes
-bell peppers, at least a few different colors
    -cucumbers

    -yellow squash
    -zucchini
    -Japanese eggplant
(probably just one plant each of those last 3)

Hmm, that doesn't look like much. I must be forgetting some things.

I'm going to do an herb garden too, but that won't be for a while b/c I'm going to plant it where our spring bulbs are currently dying and they're not rotted away enough yet

    I LOVE spring!

So, what's going on in your garden?

Just cut the last of my collards.

I have tomatoes, green peppers, hot peppers, and some squash.

My garden is tiny because I do not have much time to spend in it, but I love it!

well, what we are currently eating: asparagus.

I have garlic, shallots, tomatoes, patty pan, chard, broccoli, and cauliflower in and growing, (oh, and strawberries and some herbs), but it is the asparagus we are eating right now.

I love hearing about the different things coming up/going in in different areas of the country!

Lilah and I are about to head out to our farmer's market to buy the rest of our seedlings. :woohoo:

Then we planted cukes and brussels sprouts!

    Trin was so proud!

The cukes have really shot up this past week and the brussels have sprouted (no pun intended). I am moving everything to 5gallon buckets this weekend.

This is our first year having a garden and we are very excited!!

I only have two tiny little tomato plants that I hope will survive. So far one fell and now their leaves are turning yellow. oh no.... me and my black thumb.
