How many dipes do I need to plan on for a newborn?

I've sold off most my dipes so I don't really remember... but dd was a heavy wetter.

I'm thinking it is around 12 a day, plus covers. Once you know what you want you can pick up used ones fairly cheap.

Depends on how often you want to do laundry really.

For my twins I think I had 2-3 dozen newborn size (well, acutally, some of them were OSFA's), but it seems like they went through close to a dozen each per day in the first little while. Maybe not quite, but close. Lot's of diaper changes and laundry --- But oh so fun & cute!

    I hope that helps!

Yep, 12 a day is good. I liked flats for the newborns because they grow so fast at that age, seems like a waste to buy fitted dipes.
