I love this pattern and I am happy with the way this is turning out. It is petal pink, light grey and charcoal. The neck and hems are deep purple. I could not get enough petal pink and was afraid I would run out of yarn (which I might have since I am low and still have a sleeve left). So, I started and finished with the purple. I'd like it better in just the greys and pink but it if fun.

I had a small GC to ACMoore and already has some Patons in the greys. So, I decided stripes. Patons has an evergreen that I may do the whole sweater in as money permits. I have promised the girls sweaters. Samantha misses very much a rainbow striped one she had last year. All of Beth's are my outgrown ones so having one that fits right for her will be nice.

I love the neckline too. At first I was thinking I would not. But, I love the way it comes down in the back. If feels nice. I just hope this is soft enough and warm enough after washing to wear alone. The neckline does not lend itself to undershirts/longjohns (which I wear from Sept til March).

That is very nice! I like the stripes.

What pattern are you using? Can you take a pic of the neckline back? I am not understanding how you are describing it as "the way it comes down". lol. maybe I need another cup of coffee!

been gone with sick kids. I will post a link. It is the super birthday sweater at bluealvarez.com. But, I will get an exact link soon. I am wearing it today. It fits great. The neckline is square and is "down" in the back like the front. I am just not used to it but loving it. I can say though, knit with double stranded wool, it is very warm but the lower neck and shorter length are perfectly practical for the double wool. Sick kid calling.
