    so far I am doing:

    sausage/cheese balls
    flavored oyster crackers
veggie platter (need a yummy veggie dip)
Fruit platter with a dip (have the dip recipe)
maybe some melted chocolate in my small crockpot for the fruit too
some crackers and a cheese log

Think I will do some cider in the crockpot, water in a carafe, and then some other cold drink. Coffee and tea will be available, as will wine.

Not sure how many ppl to expect either

smoked salmon spread is lovely and much more cost effective than expected!

4- 6 oz smoked salmon (remove bones and skin)
    8 oz cream cheese
    small dash brandy or cognac

blend till smooth (food processor is best), season with salt, dillweed and white pepper to taste. Serve with plain crackers.
