Last 2 weeks was $681.26, which STINKS!

My goal for the next 2 weeks is $500.

    1/28- HT- $28.17
    1/29-TJ's- $132.61
    1/31-HT-$44.01
    2/1-HT- $11.57
    2/3- HT- $18.06
    $234.42

    1/28- dinner out- $42.
    1/31- lunch out- $31.98
    2/3-lunch out-$38
    church dinner- 23
    134.98

Total...$369.40, so if I'm going to stay within $500, that is only $130.60 left. I think I can do it. Maybe.

    2/4- Costco- $30
    2/$-HT-$24.21

Our freezer is stocked with meals. We have already placed a huge order of brown rice and whatnot from the bulk natural food place. The budget says we are not to spend more than an additional $400 for the month.... so I guess we'd better listen! That makes the goal for us under $200, and it has to include eating out. Should be possible, since we have so much food here. :D

I don't know if we can manage $500 a month. I'm looking at my cupboards, and I don't know how much it's going to take to get us through the 20th...I need to sit down and do some serious menu planning. We spent another $85 today (a number of "goodies" for superbowl--note to self: figure out such menus ahead of time and don't take DH to the store!). I didn't mean no one could use my thread that I posted to keep track of spending, LOL. I made a co-op order at the middle of last month that will probably run $100 or close to it...So, we shall see how it goes. I'll be sitting down soon to make plans!
