It seems like a lot of people are using the china cheapies, that seems to be one of the big trends right now, but they all seem to be pocket diapers and i just don't care for pocket diapers. I plan on using mostly prefolds and some gmd work horse prefitteds for the kids...maybe a few ai2's for on the go.

for new fitteds and ai2 i'll probably go with tiny hiny on etsy. i believe she's the same wahm i got diapers for Rowan from and her rates are super reasonable.

I'll check her out. I used Fuzzi Bunz almost exclusively with my girls.

Now if you like pocket diapers. People go crazy for alva and sunbabies which you can get for super cheap via co-op on facebook.

I used all prefolds and a ton of different cover types for my almost three. Dhs favorite ones were the ones I knit that pulled on over the diaper. We didnt use pins or snappis so for the life.of me I cant remember how the diaper stayed in place in there. Strictly all prefolds. Dang now that is gonna bug me.

Got my prefolds cheap by stalking ebay while preggo.

Will be watching this thread for info. DH's niece is pregnant with her first and is showing an interest in using cloth. I don't know whether to suggest fitteds for ease or prefolds and flats for economy. I loved pinned flats best, but I know others aren't comfortable using them.

Is anyone familiar with that boingo (sp?) fastener?

    10 years here!! ;)

I am also watching this thread. We want to switch Kait to cloth as soon as she is done with the poop-every-minute stage of infancy.

I have about 11 onesize AI2s, and some prefolds, but I know I am going to need so many more, and I m not confident that I will love these pockets. I know I need covers.

Geez I wish I still had even 1/3 of dd Meg's old stash....
