The job I am resigning from is just honestly waaaay too many hours, really low salary w/zero benefits. There have been some really good things about teaching at a private school and I'm grateful for all the good. However, I know this is the right thing to do.

If I teach full-time again, it will be at a public school. Teachers get paid well, actually get lunch breaks *lol*, are not called in to work on weekends, holidays etc....

At this time, I am planning on sub-teaching. I also look forward to getting my health back and being released from the horrible stress my job brought into my life and family. (and faith....to a smaller extent)

Aaaahhhhhhhhh!!! I look forward to Monday. I suspect I will feel great.

Thanks for listening over the past two years when I was struggling with this job.

Good luck Michelle! Often to move forward we have to cut some ties. Sounds like this is what you are doing.

Hoping you will find the job where you will be happier and be adequately compensated. Teaching is a hard work.
