for the next school year. :) This is huge for me.

    This is the plan:

    Math:
    *Austin - Life of Fred
    *Nathan - EPGY
*Adam - work on multiple digit multiplying/diving, then on to Life of Fred
    *Lauren - EPGY

    Science:
*Austin - Apologia Elementary botany (sea creatures) and disection (eeks!)
    *Nathan - same as Austin
*Adam - same as older boys
*Lauren - Apologia, not the disection kit with the boys, though

    History/Geography:
    *Austin - Tapestry of Grace year 1 - ancients/mapwork
    *Nathan - Tapestry of Grace year 1 - ancients/mapwork
    *Adam - Tapestry of Grace year 1 - ancients/mapwork
    *Lauren - Tapestry of Grace year 1 - ancients/mapwork

    English/LA:
*Austin - ToG reading lists, Writing from ToG
*Nathan - ToG reading lists, Writing from ToG, IEW spelling
*Adam - ToG Reading list, Writing from ToG, spelling lists from online, FLL year 4
*Lauren - ToG Reading list, Writing from ToG, spelling lists online, FLL year 3

As you can see, most of this is together! This is what we have been missing... the together part of homeschooling. I'm enjoying this planning stage. It's exciting. :) Let's hope I feel the same way in 6 months. ;)

You are on it! Working together has to make it easier with 4 kids + 1 on the way.

I'm planning too, but it has been pretty much deciding to use OM 4 for both boys in the fall. It seems a good fit for a previously Enki/Waldorf family that went the natural schooling route for a couple of years.

I tend to forget all of the other stuff that we do, though. Currently we are reading A History of US Vol. 2, listening to The Story of the World Vol. 3, and watching the PBS American Experience Series We Shall Remain. Odds are I am going to add stuff in as I continue planning.

math program through Stanford University for gifted youth. Nathan has been doing it for 2 years now and is doing well. Really teaches to the way he thinks.

Good for you! I am a huge procrastinator, so it's a big deal for me to ever get anything done early. I'm trying to work on that, LOL.
