    Them's some confusing directions! LOL When I've made continuous bias strips in the past I've used a big 3 pattern that has a "pattern" in it for the strip. Sorry, not much help...

    Oh cool, I like the technique in the first link you posted, but you're right, it is confusing. The second link is the way I usually do it.

    Sorry I don't have anything helpful to add, this is something I have to figure out all over again every time.
