We had a successful vbac after 2 cesarean births - in
the hospital - on July 24, 2003. It was so the fastest labor! I was 37

became pregnant with my second child when my daughter, Hannick, was 5

Ray and I had a plan for this situation. We would only wait 1 minute to
try getting a response from our baby if it was not breathing on its

This was not unusual to have contractions in the morning. There were
several times we thought labor was beginning only to have things cease
a couple hours later. Even contractions where I could feel cervical
dilation and baby's head engaging would leave us wondering.

children to church to allow me some much needed alone time. I curled up
in a lazboy type of rocking chair I inherited from my grandmother. The
