Thread: the duck's january goals

in no order except the first is first

~ finish mil's present: current status: on the last skein

~ knit enough of the hat-in-progress to size it

~ string a gazillion beads

~ before stringing - decide if randomly strung or a pattern looks nicer, and possibly keeping in mind the ever expanding circles make for a weird overlay in pattern

~ decide on the blue thing: current status: leaning towards ripping

~ work on the red thing

~ and the black shawl

Realistically I will do most of these, but probably not the stringing. Though I might begin stringing. Not sure if the mil's present will get finished, but I will work on it.

This is for accountability as I don't keep a blog or anything.

I don't think I have any goals for January, except maybe to not make any, haha!
I've got to figure out where I'm at and where I'm going with my skills. i love crocheting and sewing, and things that I sell are growing in popularity. Not sure if I want to keep things growing or not.
I really, really want to start making something for ME or in the least for my family but right now I'm not sure what that would be.

Did I mention I got power tools for Christmas? All I need is lumber and then I'll have another "hobby." Wonder how it will hold its own against the others. Hmmm....

Now need to decide on another color if I can't find more yarn in the original color.

done that. have ripped back several times, not due to pattern, but lack of yarn, have one more place to look, if none is forthcoming i will have to frog it and use another yarn.

worked on this, found a dropped stitch, waaaay back there, secured it for now.
