My dh has a friend who is a avid hunter. Goes out of state for competitions, goes spear fishing, hunts just about everything.He told dh if ds wanted to go turkey hunting to bring him down to his place. So they went to walmart last night to get ds's permit and camo clothes. DS was supposed to have a soccer game today but it poured rain all day yesterday so they were waiting to see if the game was cancelled. At 4 am it was not so they went back to bed at 5:43 it got cancelled so they got up at 7:30 called dh's buddy and now they are headed down there. They are going to hunt till 1 today and then go golf then come back and if ds did not get a turkey they will grill out and sleep over and then wake up before daylight and go get ready to get a turkey. I told dh that is fine but, I am not cleaning it or anything gross. It better be brought home processed and ready to cook lol.
I honestly dont think ds will be able to shoot a animal. He also can get a fall turkey and a deer this year w his permit. He is all excited. I am not. DH says it is a guy thing.
So it is just me and the youngest 2 till tomorrow. They also have soccer games and we do not know about the afternoon games yet.
