    Food tray pictures

I finally got some pictures. So far this is working well for us. I keep cut up veggies in the fridge to replenish as needed. I keep the fruits and veggies available at all times. The snack tray is all dried fruits and nuts. I have some snack bars to put out, too, but they aren't always out. Oh, Lauren loves mixing cut up fruits together to make her fruit salad for snack every afternoon.

I'm still working on a breakfast one.

    Anwyay... here goes:

grapes, cateloupe, strawberries, pieapple, kiwi, green apples, red apples, black plums, tangerines

lunch meats, lunch cheeses, condiments, peanut butter, jelly

salad mix (at back), sunflower seeds, salad topper, diced ham, bacon bits (missing: cucumbers and tomatoes and onions - need more small containers), pickles

    continued:
honey roasted peanuts, salted peanuts, currants, prunes, cashews, raisins, whole almonds, dried papaya and mango, roasted soy nuts, banana chips (missing snack bars, which I put out some days, but not most)

carrots, green beans, pea pods, cucumbers, broccoli, grape tomatoes

You really DO need to live next door to us...then I could just send my kids over to your house to eat
That looks great. I probably should try something like that

Heather, it looks lovely! how are you storing everything??I am not sure I would have the room in my fridge! Are you putting the whole tray in, or just the stuff in plastic?

I love your veggie tray idea. I may try that with my family. Is it a PC server?

Great idea. I've tried to think of something similar...especially for summer months and never quite got what I was looking for. I may be swiping some ideas there.

    Thanks for sharing.

The snack tray stays out, the others go right in one of the refrigerators. We have one of our own that is 25 cu ft, and then the smaller fridge that stays with teh base house.

I'm wondering how often you are cutting up fruit and stuff. I can see it going well, but 1) I run out of things quickly; 2) things go bad.

I think something like this will help us during the summer especially. BUt, I like having salad "fixings" around so that my son will eat salad more often. And the fruit is good for all of us!

Definitely doing this when I get off for the summer. This idea will be great for my kiddies who are now all old enough to make their own choices.

I only had to cut up fruit/veggies once this week. Keeping it in the fridge, it didn't go bad, and there was such a large variety it didn't disappear within seconds of being brought into the house.

hehe This is what I am wondering, too. Especially with the "baby" who likes to sample things any time she opens the refrigerator. Mind you, I would much rather she snack on fruits and veggies, just wondering how long that stuff would last. hehe

So, like the lunch one, are you pulling this out daily? Is this what you do daily for snacks and lunch?
