Favorite recipes that feed EVERYONE?
What are your favorite recipes that feed everyone?
Mine are all pretty basic; lasagne, baked mac & cheese, pot roast, grilled chicken, burgers, spaghetti and meatballs, everything always paired with a big green salad (most of my kids are big salad eaters).
Anyone have some new ideas for me?

We make homemade bean burritos and that could feed a crowd and is very easy to fix. I like to make casseroles. Baked Ziti is one of our favorites as is spaghetti pie. I also like to do soups and stews with homemade biscuits or bread. Last night we had my favorite lentil garbanzo stew and it makes a ton.
warm one cup lentils in warm water
heat a couple tbs olive oil in soup pot
chop an onion (recipe calls for 3 c onion, I chop 1 onion)
sautee onion w/ :
1.5 tsp paprika
1.5 tsp cumin
pinch turmeric
for 8 min
add 1/2 c brown rice, sautee 1 more min
add warmed lentils, 1 tsp salt, fresh ground pepper and 6.5 c water
Simmer for 45 min. Remove from heat and add 1-2 14 oz cans garbanzos, rinsed. (I add 2 because I like those). Just before serving add fresh or frozen chopped spinach for those who will eat it. Serve with plain yogurt or sour cream to spoon on top.
Makes the house smell so good!
Another favorite is homemade red beans and rice. (like the zatarans but not as salty, and with a yummy sausage/kielbasa).
