Thread: Craigslist whine...

I had banned craigslist in my house, but I need some $ & dh needs a clean garage, so i've been putting stuff up for sale. I price stuff low- real low to get it sold. I give freebies. People still want me to deliver it. They want me to give them the specs on the items - its all from ikea, I tell them the item name in the post - go to ikea's website & look it up your darn self! And they never show up on time. last time chick was 2 hrs late. Right now we are waiting on someone 38 minutes late & counting. I usually dont have pick-ups when dh isn't here, but I could use the $ . I am pregnant, sick... I need to potty & I am desperate for a bath! But of course as soon as I haul my huge butt up the stairs & sit down she will show up. you just know it. But of course I will hold it forever & she wont come at all... :shake:

ugh I went through that last weekend. I listed a bunch of stuff on Friday and got replies instantly about the stuff and the first several people never showed up. Finally offered it to the fourth person in line and she picked up on Monday. Totally frustrating because we wasted the days away all weekend waiting for people to show up.

soooo........I get an email today that she didn't get the other email til now & she wants to pick it up today. Said 12. its now 12:22 & of course I've been holding my full bladder for over half an hr. Anyone want to take bets on wether she shows up? ugh.

Well, i'm going to the potty. If I had it, I'd bet $50 she'll show up now....

Hey.... now wait a minute... what IKEA goodies are you sellin? Maybe you can bring them to St. Louis on your way through... LOL.

LOL I've got a buffet & a table left that I'm trying to unload. Soon I'll have a bookshelf (once I clear it off & put everything in the kids rooms LOL). You're welcome to come to CA & pick them up.

She didn't show - I'm guessing she wont. Do some people just get off on telling people they want their stuff & just not showing?

I'm selling off some toys that dd1 isn't playing with anymore and we have PLENTY for when dd2 is older.

A woman was supposed to get here at 1pm yesterday. I set Seanra up downstairs to watch a video while she comes so she isn't heartbroken that I'm selling toys she hasn't played with for years, lol. She calls at 1:15, she'll be here at 1:30-1:45. That's ok, we'll be here.

She calls at 2 to tell us she can't come.

OOOOOoooookay. Thank goodness it was a nice lazy day around here.

I look forward to the $, have all this correspondence with the person for them not to show. At least she called.
