Thread: Georgia LLL conference...are we having dinner or something?

Do you guys want to plan dinner/lunch one day Friday or Saturday at the LLL conference this coming weekend?

I will be there all day both days. So will stephanie.

I will only be there Saturday and Sunday..I didn't feel like managing two kids on Friday So we could do a saturday thing since I paid for lunch at the conference..like a dinner/coffee whatever? before we take marta back?

ah..hadn't thought of taking marta...should we do that?

Tracey and I are going to park at North Springs and take Marta in..just easier for us to do I don't know if it would be easier for you all up there.

I was thinking of taking MARTA. I am exhibiting, so I have to be there EARLY on Friday morning. I definitely do not want to battle rush hour traffic in the am. I am up for meeting for whatever though--coffee or dinner!

Friday lunch is free,

We are doing the star parenting workshop and dinner friday night, and the skeynote lunch on saturday

and then free saturday night

My mom and DH will be with me

then we leave sunday

Or breakfast Sunday? I will be there Sat and Sun (coming in late Friday).

I also think it would be neat to write an AM (for Amity Mama) on our name tags or a sticker on our nametags to denote our AM status to each other as we come and go.

I am the black mama with Dreads, 33 weeks pregnant. Hard to miss!

I am already meeting or sitting with someone for lunch Sat. potentially so I don't think I could do that.

Can anyone tell me how to get to the IKEA store from the hotel? Is it open on Sundays?

I will be wearing a leader tag and carrying around a mostly bald toddler..but I think you are right, Micky..I should be able to locate you. Many of us GA mamas know eachother already..but I think I could try to find a place to put AM on my tags

I am exhibiting Natural Family Boutique, so if anyone comes by the table, I will be the one with a big, fatty 5 mo old. Julie (oceana) is exhibiting Creative Memories, so swing by her table as well.

I'll be there Fri-Sat-Sun but I know many will not be there on Sunday since it is a Leader/Leader Applicant day.

I'm speaking so I'll be a little dressier than normal on Fri/Sat, but can probably do coffee/dinner whenever before Meg and I get MARTA.

The directions I printed said it will take us 4 hours and my MIL is driving and drives slower than molassas so it might actually take that long. So I will be getting in Friday at 10pm or so. We are staying at the hotel.

So we all putting AM in one corner of our nametags?

What about the IKEA store? Somebody help me out!

Lunchtime is FREE not lunch itself... unless you are going to the healthcare meeting and then it is included

is open on sunday from the hotel turn left on International and left on Spring that will take you north into the city Spring will at some point turn into West Peachtree it will be one way North turn Left over the 17th street bridge and then drive till you see it on the right

I asked about TN cause my mom will be with us from NewPort TN

I will be doing the Creative Memories table like Jennie said, Tracy you need to stop by and see me as I have something for your DS's Bday

Thanks Julie! You rock! Can't wait to meet you all. It seems like this is going to be a very well done conference. Hopefully we will make it in at a decent time Friday night. I wish I could make the parenting seminar, but I have to wait for my MIL to get off work as she is my traveling buddy/kid wrangler.
