wear a bra and panties (or whatever you normally wear under clothing, since we are checking to see how clothing will fit you, this is why we need whatever you normally wear under clothing)
1st we will measure the bust circumference at fullest part of bust
so measure around the part that pokes out the most (for some of us thats the nipple area for some of us thats below the nipple), all the way around your back to where the tape meets up. dont pull it too tight or let it hang at all. just to where its sitting on your flesh.
2nd measure under bust circumference, just below entire bust
like where the crease of your boobs and your ribs are
3rd your waist measurement - i am short waisted meaning if i actually wear things on my waist they are up under my boobs, so i normally measure where i like for waistbands to fall (for me that a couple of inches about my hips. i cant stand wearing things on my true waist. it annoys me lol)
4th measure your hips for me. this is the fullest part of your hips.
again make sure you dont pull too hard on the measuring device, if you do then the clothing wont fit correctlynamasté, branwyn

Thanks Branwyn!! Any suggestions for a cover up with the tank tops that aren't a shrug? I have HUGE shoulders and shrugs make me look like a linebacker in the wrong uniform. LOL

Some of those dusters on ebay are really nice! (but yes, some are FUG-LEE!! LOL) I truly don't think I'm good enough at crochet to do a duster like that first one. (huge hands and filet don't do well together, at least not for me) Thanks Branwyn!

Its so nice having an expert clothing gal here lol...maybe when i can actually afford new clothes Ill need help too....thanks for the link

I love these tank looking tops (okay sorry i dont know what they are called) and although my arms are flabby id love to start wearing them, but Ive got two scars that I HATE and would show really badly...I mean they show alot well most of the time anyway, but I hate when ppl look at them and not my face when they talk to me...(one is on my neck, from a lung bio-everyone asks if my thyroid was takin out...and the other is where my ICD is (defib/passmaker) BUT i cant wear scarves, they choke me to death lol....cant stand to have anything around my neck...ackLast edited by Twisti; 07-16-2005 at 03:35 PM.
