My first attempt at needle felting

I've been promising myself I'd set up a nature table for several years and finally started on the stuff for it. This is my first attempt at needle felting. Please excuse the icky dirty desk.

She's adorable! Isn't it amazing how much personality those little people have?!

I'd love to needle felt - was it hard? And how long did it take??

She was really pretty easy, barring all the bloody fingers. I think I need to get a foam pad on which to work I think she took around an hour, so a fairly quick project.
